WILSHERE STILL DREAMING OF ARSENAL RETURN
Although he’s currently happy at his current club Bournemouth, Jack Wilshere is reportedly still Eyeing a return to the Emirates Stadium and has continued to give subtle hints that he would love the idea of a reunion with the Gunners. Wilshere started his career at Arsenal after being promoted from the club’s youth set up and would go on to have a brilliant first few years of his career with the club.
One of the major highlights of his career was during the Champions League night against Spanish side Barcelona where he was the best player on the pitch. It was a rare scenario to notice that a rival player would come to the Camp Nou and outshine the likes of Xavi Hernández, Andres Iniesta, and Lionel Messi. But Wilshere performed excellently well and would then eventually out-masterclass the legendary trio. It was a great night for the English midfielder, and one he once admitted he would not forget.
However, just like every other football honeymoon, his own with Arsenal would come to an end. He left the Emirates in 2017 and signed for West Ham United, becoming a star signing for the Hammers at the time. But his struggle with injures meant that he would not have a long career with West Ham, so he joined Championship side AFC Bournemouth.
He’s been a decent signing for the Cherries so far, but the allure of returning to the Premier League is fuelling his desire to return to Arsenal.
